Big Sir Sezs....

Winter is closer to passing and longer warmer days are ahead.  Saint Patrick’s Day will be the theme for our luncheon.  You guess right, we will have Corn Beef and Cabbage.

Speaking of food, I have to apologize for the February luncheon meal.  I have asked John to speed up his preparation so that we can start the serving closer to our schedule and he has agreed. 

Now, for some good news.  January we inducted 4 new members.

Your BEC is considering a number of options to enhance our program and our group.  Little Sir, Chuck Bennett, is doing a great job recruiting speakers with help from Jack Johnson.

We need to strive for 70% at our meetings.  Please attend if possible.

The new Roster for 2013 has been completed. The roster was available at our February meeting.  I will pick up some rosters to have them available for those who cannot attend the meetings.  If you need a Roster call 368-6490 or cell 479-3124. AL FURR, BIG SIR will hand deliver one to your home.  I may even bring one of my soups to sample and another Sir to visit.

June11 Picnic  @ Micke Grove Park.   The cooking team of Bob Gorbet and Phil Schrock has decided on Ribs and Chicken this year.  Bob and Phil are Master Chefs / Organizers.  They do better every year.  Thank you Phil and Bob for all you do for SIR 145 in addition to editing my writing.

 Next Tournament is two-man best ball at Lockeford Springs on March 13th, get signed up at Swenson or Micke Grove.

 March 29th is a two man best ball at Van  Buskirk. Sign up sheets at Micke and Swenson.

 I had 68 golfers at  Swenson on Feb 26th and eight flights.  The following men came in the money;  George Galatsatos, Chad Palmer, Dave Stennick, Howard Ferguson, Bill Rutherford, Horst Klee, Terry Lawson, John Guilfoyle, Bob Johnson, Chester George,  Silas Suits, and Tony Canton.
